Set Construction

Halfway through 2022 I was employed to help build the set for the University of Chichester Third-Year Acting Student's production: Twigs. Hannah Kennedy was commissioned by the University to write the play, and was directed by Chloe Cattin. The performance took place in The Showroom, Chichester.

The set consisted of a canopy of twigs that were to be suspended from the theatre's rigging, which needed to be sourced from deadfall in a local forest.

Sticks, twigs and branches were collected in numerous trips, bundled and taken to the University campus to be cut to length and assembled into lattices with twine.
